Good physical fitness is important for the Firefighter testing process as well as for your entire career. My focus to worked out everyday was by telling myself I always want to be a part of the solution. Meaning stay as fit as possible in order to successfully compete my fire ground assignment, versus becoming a part of the problem, not being able to complete my assignment due to my lack of fitness.
